CORNWALL BUSINESS AWARDS
We're very happy that we were runners up for the Marketing Strategy of the Year award, in the Cornwall Business Awards. Congratulations to the winners, Worldwide Financial Planning, and well done to all of the winners and nominees across the board. We had a great time at the Awards Ceremony on 17th May!
COMPETITION WINNER!
Congratulations to Mrs Fairful of Illogan, Cornwall, who won our recent competition in Blackbird Pie Magazine. We asked readers to name the total number of wheels on a trike, a bike and a scooter. The correct answer was 7. Paddy presented the prize, a JD Bug Scooter, to a very pleased looking Mrs Fairful recently. Her children, aged 5 and 7, are going to love it, it’s one of the best folding scooters on the market. Thanks to everyone who entered.

Bouncy Happy People, MPAD and The Cystic Fibrosis Trust held a sponsored charity event in Lemon Quay, Truro, Cornwall on 23rd June to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
BOUNCY HAPPY PEOPLE FEATURE ON CHANNEL 4 TELEVISION
Bouncy Happy People were chosen by Princess Productions to feature on Channel 4’s ‘The Friday Night Project’ which went on air Friday 3rd February 2006. Princess Productions approached Bouncy Happy People to supply the show with a top quality table-football game and offer expert advice to the production team. At the end of the show the table was donated as a prize in the weekly competition and was won by a very happy member of the audience.

Heavy snow and blizzards hit UK
Sledging
….Some people are already taking advantage of the first snowfall by sledging. One firm reported being “inundated” with orders for toboggans.
Patrick Polglase, Managing Director of Bouncy Happy People in Mylor Cornwall said there had been orders from across the country, including Surrey, Essex, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. “We’ve sold more in the last two days than we have done in the whole of this year, so we’re really looking forwards to seeing if it does snow,” he said.

BHP's mini trampoline.
Boing, boing. At 16 stone - OK, 16.5 stone - your reviewer was a little nervous about Bouncy Happy People's mini trampoline.
The maximum weight is meant to be 16 stone, but you only live once. Claims that a bounce helps reduce the signs of ageing only hardened the resolve.
The foldable trampoline is easy to set up and when you get going it's actually quite fun - watch out for any low office ceilings.
Another use is to position the trampoline a yard away, take a canteen roll and bounce it into the accounts department. It's got to be more stimulating than the BBC's idea of piping lift music into its accounts office.
